The Lock Gallery is an independent open studio and art gallery. It is located in Coventry's Canal Basin, amongst picturesque scenery and within the hub of Coventry's art scene. (local arts and craft workshops and studios surround the canal basin.)
It is run by artist and sculptor Emma O'Brien.
Founded in 2008, Emma works on her own art from the Lock Gallery. She also hosts a number of local, established and emerging artists in their own exhibitions.
The space is available to hire for solo or group exhibitions, where a private view is included as well as mailing lists, invitations, advertising and the whole space for the evening and following week. The exhibition then continues on the feature wall or large floor space/plinths for sculptures, for the required 2, 4 or 6 week exhibition period.
We also rent a space for an agreed time period of 2, 4 or 6 weeks.
