"While dealing with the body, my paintings have emerged over time from an obsessive compulsion to draw.
The bodily forms within these drawings have become fully formed females multiplying until they reached out to relate to each other. The placement of he drawings on the canvas is paramount in encouraging a relationship between them within the ambiguous environment made for them.
Layering and rubbing down paint is a vital aspect of my practice, it gives depthe to a surface in flux littered withh ghostly images, marks and pattern. this approach allows for endless possibilities while drawings can exist on different but simultanious planes.
The vital beginning of all elements of my practice is drawing and the process of the body forms becomming whole."
